A group of passionate, committed people who are putting closed toed shoes on African children, one pair at a time. We are also holding medical clinics, providing education, and jobs for and with the beautiful souls in Uganda. Along the way, we realized we could not only help African children live lives free from jiggers, but we could help African men and women by teaching them a trade—how to make shoes. And so we began. We now have a plan, a vision, and core values. We also have an amazing team of high-energy, crazy folks that love God, people, fun, and making an impact one vulnerable person at a time.
What are jiggers?

Our family has been hosting a weekly cutting party at our homeschool co-op. It has been a great way to introduce people to Sole Hope and as a side benefit we have cut out a LOT of shoes this semester. You can host a one time party or do it on an ongoing basis like we are.
